If you choose to buy a secondhand ticket from someone on social media, or from an unauthorised resale websites like Ticket Merchant, Viagogo or StubHub, there is no guarantee the ticket you’re buying is authentic or valid, and you may be denied entry at the gate.
HSU does not work with or sell tickets via Eventbrite – any events you see on here claiming to be HSU are fake, and tickets will not be accepted at our events.
The only safe place to buy tickets to our events is direct from the Ticketbooth website, and from official HSU promoters.
Login to your Ticketbooth account, scroll down to the bottom of the order and update the name on the ticket you want to change.
The ticket with the updated name will be emailed to you the week of the event.
If you have any issues, email support@ticketbooth.com.au
You can resell your ticket and change the name via your Ticketbooth account, however there is no official resale site, so buyers and sellers need to be careful when transacting secondhand tickets.
If you have a hard copy Ticketbooth ticket (a physical ticket that was purchased through an official HSU promoter), you will need to register it. This is for your own protection, ensuring the legitimacy of your ticket.
You can do this by going to the link printed on the right hand side of the ticket & entering the registration ID & your details.
Please note: Digital tickets (tickets purchased online through Ticketbooth) do not need to be activated.
For any issues with tickets, email support@ticketbooth.com.au

Sitting down in the middle or at the front of the dance floor is strictly prohibited.
Staff & security need to be able to see everybody to make sure they are safe, and it also creates safety issues for standing/walking patrons.

Police and all venues we work with are always on alert to stop fence jumpers from entering our events. Police will patrol all aspects of the venues from outside. Fence jumpers will be caught and prosecuted.
